Rooted in English fields and forged with flavour, each TALU expression is a deliberate act of creation — a soul shaped by extraordinary wood and unhurried craft without compromise.

Our rye, barley & maize whiskey begins life in level 4 charred American white oak barrels, developing a toasted rye sweetness before finishing in first-fill mezcal casks from Oaxaca, Mexico. This explosion of roaring flame and roast agave is then infused with mesquite-smoked water to deliver bold, earthy, caramelised depth and a daring, smoky complexity.

Inspired by pairing whiskey with food, we wanted to bring smoky aromas & flavours to our whiskey like woodchips to a barbecue. Peat isn’t for everyone – so how can we achieve that smoky finish without it? Introducing spring water at proofing seemed like opportunity for play. From hickory to cherry we finally found the perfect pairing. With an infusion of mesquite-smoked water, The Smokeshow is daring & unforgettable.
SPIRIT OF THE CASK

First matured in level-four charred American white oak barrels, then finished in first-fill mezcal casks from Oaxaca, Mexico. This expression is where heritage meets rogue adventure. Our sweetly spiced whiskey fuses with the agave warmth of mezcal-soaked wood, creating bold, earthy, caramelised depth. Slow oily legs quench this fiery whiskey.
